David HollidayO.B.E FIOD MIOB

David Holliday has a significant track record within the construction and allied industries, demonstrating strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

As CEO of the Ward Homes Group Ltd (1998-2003), David led the team in a public to private buyout in 2000. David was also founder and Chief Executive of Admiral Homes Ltd, (1989-1996), at the time, the largest Venture Capital Start-up in the U.K. The company grew to 700 house sales per year, with a sales revenue of £70,000,000, in six years from start-up. In the 7 years of Admiral’s existence it won over 100 recognised industry awards.

During a time of financial and political threat to the industry,David was President of the House Builders Federation (1992) where he established statistical reporting methods on a weekly and monthly basis for measuring sales progress of the leading housebuilders. These statistics are used by both government analysts and the industry as the authoritative view on the market place.

David’s successful and prestigious career led, in 1997, to him being awarded the O.B.E. for services to the “Energy efficiency in new homes”, and was awarded Freedom of the City of London.

Terry Roydon BSc MBA

Terry Roydon brings his extensive experience to RilaDev having enjoyed many years of success running a number of leading British housebuilders.

He was Chief Executive of Prowting Homes a company building over 1,600 homes a year, and also Managing Director at Carlton Homes Limited (subsequently Comben Group Ltd). Terry remained as Group Managing Director of Comben Group until 1984, contributing to the expansion of the Company from some 500 houses per year to over 2,000 houses per year, placing it in the the top 6 housing companies in the UK. The Company grew to having seven regional subsidiaries, together with operations in USA, France and Portugal.

In addition to his UK experience, Terry has enjoyed considerable success overseas in resort markets including Balaia Golf Village and Rocha Brava in Portugal and Dom Developments in Warsaw. Terry is a Non-Executive Director of Engel East Europe N.V. , a major residential developer throughout Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Canada.

Within the industry, Terry has been heavily involved in representing the House Building Industry and was President of the House Builders Federation in 1984, and between 1985 and 1995 was Honorary Secretary of the Volume Housebuilders Study Group (a lobby group for the Chief Executives of the twelve largest house building companies). Terry also served as President of the European Union of House Builders and Developers from May 1995 to May 1997 and remains on the Board of this influential organisation.

  Russell Collins

Russell , Director of Sales and Marketing brings a wealth of experience both in the UK residential market and emerging markets to this already strong team. With a strong focus on Eastern European investor and domestic markets, 

Russell has spent the last 5 years gaining market understanding specifically in Bulgaria.Previously Business Development Manager for a leading international property company, Russell has a strong understanding of product development and route to market strategising. Having consulted some of the largest AIM listed property funds in emerging markets, 

Russell has a clear understanding of the planning process, design analysis, property management and hotel operator schemes through to marketing and sales. Russell enjoyed a successful start in his property career serving as one of the senior sales team at Foxtons Ltd, London’s largest residential property agency. Expanding into the overseas property and real estate investments, Russell has gained valuable experience in many of the emerging markets. With experience primarily in Bulgaria, along with Croatia, Montenegro, Cape Verde, Germany and Morocco, Russell is an invaluable compliment to the existing team.
